Although most players will never believe it, referees likely have a broader knowledge of the rules than most players, particularly at junior level - most referees will have a number of law books to which they refer/read very regularly and have monthly meetings to brush up on technical aspects and law changes. Simon has asked me to help out with one of the training sessions soon where I can go over lawes, some law changes and anything else that might be useful, also answer any questions etc.
